At JC Music Management we love nothing more than live performances and music tours. We LOVE to tour just like ever music lover does.
Touring is difficult! There are the co-ordination or people, equipment, crowds, weather, travel, finances, insurance etc. etc. We let the artist worry about the music and we will worry about the tour.
Our mission is to have our artists performing on the road as much as possible. When artists get to perform live in front of an audience, their music connects more deeply with their fanbase and allows them to be more in-touch they become with their audience.
We do everything in our power to make touring for the artist as easy and profitable as possible by working with industry specific professionals across all platforms.
Piano is where I began. I love the sound of the raw instrument on its own. I've learnt my craft and still learn everything I do on my same piano at home. At a piano is where I feel most comfortable expressing my sound.
Diving into the sounds of a great keyboard gives a player expression and a chance to create and experiment with sounds otherwise unobtainable. I love finding new ways to express my sound.
I've always loved playing in a band. There's a magic that is created when musicians all work in perfect harmony to create music. Human interaction in it's finest form I say.
In recent years I've come to love playing the bass. It's wonderful how expressive and formative you can create music with the strong backbone of a bass guitar.
Jon’s background to playing music is mostly rooted in pop/rock performances. Growing up with a local Brisbane band, Jon played every weekend at every live music venue in the city.
All this means that Jon’s capacity on stage or on camera is present and confident. Empowering yet subtle, forceful yet forgiving.
Keyboardist Jon Copley, a man with class, style and soul, brings a confident, charismatic and powerful energy to any stage performance.
Music and the arts are embedded in Jon’s DNA along with a passion for the Brisbane Arts scene and Queensland music. His key musical influences number among the likes of Herbie Hancock, Tower of Power, Eric Clapton and many more 70’s soul and funk musicians.
One of my most memorable performances was playing piano for Delta Goodrem's debut Christmas Special. It was televised to the nation and hosted at the Sydney Opera House.
I’m privileged to have been a part of the NBC orchestra for Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis film. I played a refurbished Hammond B3 built by a local pianist and B3 specialist (from whom I originally learnt to play the organ).with fellow travelers and share your experiences on our platform. Our community is passionate about exploring, and we want you to be a part of it.
Collaborating with a band has always been my preference when playing live music. The epitome of which was playing the Whitsunday Music Festival with my band Saccharo. We wrapped up 4 shows during the festival with the closing performance on the Airlie Beach Hotel’s stage.
I've played many high-profile corporate shows throughout my career including the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, Mercedes-Benz events, Queensland Club cultural month, Brisbane Chamber of Commerce events and the Holding Redlich charity ball.
